Ilyas Mohamed, who will be joined the ATS team in the capacity of Business Development Manager. Ilyas, previously held the position of Business Unit Manager for Security Storage and Networking covering the Middle East region, where he has worked for the past 7 years. He has during this period held various product manager positions within Aptec supporting companies such as McAfee, HP, IBM, CA, Veritas, ACER, AVAYA to name but a few. Prior to this, and Ilyas joining Aptec, he worked for a large systems integration company based in Saudi where he undertook various account and product manager roles for a number of large customer accounts (e.g. King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre, BAe & SCECO). Ilyas will be based at our offices in Dubai and will be responsible for working with the Symantec team in identifying and developing the Symantec Services opportunities across the region.

Hany Fathy joined ATS as Egypt BDM/Consultant. Hany brings to ATS more than 12 years of experience in the Egyptian IT Market & Media production industry. Hany has occupied previously numerous managerial and technical posts with companies like Aptec Egypt, Middle East Media and Softwaretec was the latest one just prior to ATS.

Sameer Rahmah, joined Advanced Technical Services team in the capacity as Country Manager - ATS Saudi. Sameer brings to ATS more than 18 years of rich and diverse experience in IT industry. Being raised, educated, and worked in Saudi, Sameer gained familiarity of Saudi Culture and good understanding of Saudi IT market. He has held several technical and management posts with major companies and banking firms like Riyadh Bank, Saudi Office Systems, and Saudi Electricity Company. His last post was “IT Design and Specification Division Manager” for “Saudi Electricity Company” enriched his experience in the IS Security filed and end user requirements. He served “Saudi Electricity Company” for more than 9 years where he was responsible for planning, designing and project management of all IS Security Solutions including Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Internet Services, Vulnerability Assessment, and Managed Security Services. He was also responsible for all Symantec Antivirus Solutions implementation.

Peter van Veyeren is a Security Management Consultant employed by Advanced Technology Services (ATS). He has been Consulting throughout the Middle East for 7 years. He has detailed knowledge in Information Technology (IT) security solutions ranging from IT Strategies, IT architectures, IT management processes, IT Security, Business Continuity Planning, Business Performance Management, Operational Capability Assessments and Project Management. Before coming to the Middle East he was a Principal Consultant at AST e-Business Integrity Services Group in South Africa. He has held many senior and executive positions in major South African organizations. He has worked in various IT positions in a number of commercial and industrial companies for over 35 years.
